Description

Large petrochem and refinery services company has an immediate need for a Inspection Superintendent. Position located in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Qualified candidates must have at least 10 years refinery equipment experience in a refinery/petrochemical plant. Experience should include: PCMS Database experience; Supervisory experience; Knowledge of National Codes and technical documents relevant to refinery equipment; ASNT Certification, Level II in MT, PT, RT, VT and UT; National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) Certification is optional but highly desirable; Familiarity with ASME and NBIC Code calculations for retirement limits of pressure retaining refinery equipment.Primary responsibilities will include: Auditing and evaluation of equipment inspection activities for the refinery to ensure compliance with industry and company standards; Supervising and guiding the activities of the Area Inspectors to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments; Coordinating and providing essential data to the inspection group and refinery, through the management of inspection databases, filing systems and reference materials.
