Description

Turbomachinery manufacturer (OEM) client is actively searching for Mechanical Designers with 5+ years of rotating equipment design experience to work on long term contract or temp to perm assignments in San Diego, Ca. A degree is not required. Must have experience and proficiency with either ProE, or other 3D modeling software. Must have experience with preparing detailed design drawings for machine elements of centrifugal equipment such as machined parts, impellers, end caps, center bodies, bearings and heavy castings. Must have experience with drawing checking and tolerancing. Must have knowledge of ANSI Y14.5. Must have the ability to oversee the activities of 2 - 4 less experienced designers and drafters. This is a long-term contact position with the potential for temp-to-perm opportunity. Rate is negotiable depending upon experience level. Expense package is negotiable for the successful candidates.
